The Courses of Diploma in Engineering shall extend over a period of 3 ½ academic years for sandwich courses and 3 years for regular courses as given below.

| MINIMUM QUALIFICATION FOR ADMISSION TO 1st Year DIPLOMA COURSES: |
A pass in X Std or equivalent examination in Tamil Nadu.
Obtained at least 35% marks at the qualifying examinations. |

+2 (HSC) Academic Stream ( Maths, Physics, Chemistry )12th Science with vocational / Technical,
10th+ (2 years ITI) with appropriate specialization. |

| SPONSORING OF THE CANDIDATES BY THE INDUSTRIES: |
| The industries collaborating with A M K Technological Polytechnic College can sponsor the candidates for admission to sandwich courses. The candidates having the above prescribed qualification will be considered for admission. |
